Lan Sticker on Drums and Keys, Robert Prosser on the Mic: DRUMBADOUR are searching for a radical form of Storytelling. Through Spoken Word and Beats an equally funky and tight energy is delivered, reduced to the utmost freedom for Rhythm and Voice.
Be it improvisation or dancy grooves, its most appealing virtue is reached when playing live, in direct contact with the audience. Not a single Word too much, no Hit off-key, DRUMBADOUR offers an extraordinary union of Music and Literature, as Performance, Ritual and Recitation.
In 2023 the Performance LOST IN AVALANCHES - based on the Novel with the same title - was shown app 30 times in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
Concerts and Performances 2022, among others, at Künstlerhaus Vienna, Klub Močvara (Zagreb), BAZA.Inclusive (Warsaw) and Walcheturm (Zürich).
Emerging from the Performance based on the novel GEMMA HABIBI (Ullstein, 2019) - the start of Stickers and Prossers cooperation, among other venues shown at the German Statetheater Temeswar (Romania) - the play INFIGHT premiered in October 22 at Ateliertheater, Vienna. Rhythmus ist alles, Rhythm is everything, headlined a (german) review of this "thrilling evening" in the Austrian newspaper Der Standard.
DRUMBADOUR EP - a first livesign, recorded in Summer 2021 at Amann Studio, Vienna, and to be found on Bandcamp, Spotify etc. Published via !Rufzeichen Records, mainly containing compositions taken from the novels PHANTOME and GEMMA HABIBI.
